Women in the turf industry make up less than 2% of all professionals. Now, imagine being a female golf mechanic. In this episode of of Breaking the Turfgrass Ceiling, Kayla Kipp and Erin Miller share how their fathers and other men have mentored them and how being part of the Women in Turf Team has accelerated their growth and sense of belonging. Kipp recently became the first woman in the world to become a Certified Turf Equipment Manager (CTEM) and Miller was named 2022 Turf Tech of the Year by the Turf Equipment Technicians Association of the Carolinas.
