The Honor of a Lifetime

I joined the Army in 2003 and served with the 101st Airborne Division. I served on active duty for 8 years, 3 of those years in Iraq. I learned many skills while serving. Attention to detail, selflessness, pride in my work and developed a strong work ethic to name a few. To be honest, I’m not sure that I can isolate a single great event. I love the time I spent serving and the great people I met and served with. I never recall specific events, but constantly talk about the great people I met and how they impacted my life. It’s why I chose to work at a military golf course. It was the honor of a lifetime to serve this great nation and its an honor to now serve the brave men and women that continue to defend our freedoms and way of life.
