About the Instructor
Justin Apel, a graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, joined the Golf Course Builders Association of America in 2006. In 2011, he was named executive director and has helped lead the association in its expansion of membership categories and participation in international initiatives that support the game. In addition, Apel is responsible for GCBAA’s charitable arm, the GCBAA Foundation. Today, the association continues to grow both domestically and internationally, and is now a partner in the China and Asia Golf shows. GCBAA’s membership represents the contractors who construct and renovate golf courses around the world, along with the suppliers and consultants whose products are used in construction.
