This 90-minute webcast, taught by Jim Kerns, Ph.D., provides participants with the ability to employ troubleshooting tactics to increase their speed and accuracy of turf problem diagnosis. Basic principles of problem-solving methods and troubleshooting will be reviewed. Emphasis is placed on the tools, procedures, resources, and services needed to diagnose the most common causes of turfgrass decline. Topics will include environmental monitoring, nutrient analysis, soil physical and chemical properties, nematode analysis, and diagnosis of fungal diseases.
