SCOR for Strategic Planning

March 29th, 2018 8:52pm CDT

Education Points: 0.2

Join Steve Randall, GCSAA’s associate director, chapter outreach, to discuss strategic planning and learn how it may benefit you. The first phase will focus on the SCOR analysis: strengths, challenges, opportunities and risks. These may be for your entire department or a single phase of your operations. From there, you’ll develop a mission statement, focus on your vision, and ultimately develop goals and action items. Setting timelines and identifying those persons responsible for accomplishing key duties will be emphasized. In addition, you’ll learn the importance of strategic planning for your chapter with ideas you can use to get started right away.
