About the instructors:
Dean Mosdell, Ph.D., is the Western Technical Manager for Syngenta. His responsibilities include product stewardship, field testing and technical support of Syngenta products in turf markets for the Western United States. Mosdell has over 25 years’ experience in technical support for the turf industry, receiving both bachelors and master’s degree in Agronomy (Turfgrass Specialty), from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. from Purdue University. He is a frequent presenter of webinars for Syngenta.
Lane Tredway, Ph.D., is a technical manager for Syngenta, with responsibilities for turf and landscape in the southeastern U.S. Tredway earned a bachelor’s degree in agronomic science from Penn State University, a master’s degree in plant biology from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in plant pathology from the University of Georgia. He was formerly an associate professor and extension specialist in the department of plant pathology at North Carolina State University. Tredway has previously taught seminars for GCSAA at the annual education conference as well as a number of webinars.
