Auckland, New Zealand has a goal of becoming the ‘World’s most live-able city’ and the Auckland Council is looking at how golf can play a part in that. Currently, 13 Auckland golf courses operate on council-owned or managed land. A discussion document produced by local government highlights the existing (and potential) value that golf courses in the central city offer.
