Growing golf has been an increasing challenge in recent years, creating concern about its future from many who love the game. Legislation and governmental regulation can impact a superintendent’s management abilities, not to mention the impact of a scarcity of resources (drought) and players. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is one regulation which can have a negative or positive impact on golf and the growth of the game.
