Annandale Golf Club near Pasadena, Calif. took advantage of a renovation project and upgraded their roughs with Heat Tolerant Bluegrasses from Scotts Professional Seed. GCSAA member Ed Kutt expects the new turf in the rough will outcompete poa annua, perform better in the shade than bermudagrass, while tolerating the high temperatures and lack of rain in the summers.
